Furniture Loans?

Is this a thing? My spouse & I are last minute needing a home for our family of soon to be 4. But we only currently have first & last rent available. I’m wondering if there’s a place where we can ask for a loan for furniture?

Most furniture companies offer financing with 0% financing for a certain amount of time, pottery barn offers affirm which I think is basically paying for the furniture over a certain period of time in monthly installments. How exciting-congrats!

I wouldn’t take out a loan on furniture, they have some nice affordable furniture on wayfair.

Personally, I would buy secondhand versus take out a loan. You can buy really cheap used furniture that still works 💯

Most furniture stores offer store cards. We have one and use it once a year to upgrade something and pay it off. It’s been a great way to help build our credit too.

I know places like Leon’s and the brick will do lines of credit. I don’t know the details because I’ve never done one, but I did it somewhere else with my mattress and it was 6 months interest free.
