Will SOS make me retake my written test to renew my driver permit?

It expired during June of 2020. Couldn’t get in because of the pandemic. 
I’m also 19 and in Michigan if that helps either.

I’m in Michigan and they made me retake mine but it wasn’t during the pandemic. So idk if they are doing anything for people that can’t get in right now. You can probably call and ask.

every state is different. some states yes, some no. not trying to be an asshole, but if you don’t feel confident that you can easily retake the written portion then please don’t be on the road
