For retrospect the age of consent for sex is 16(but i’m not interested in that) and the age of being an adult is 18.

I’m 17. He’s 21. I like him and he likes me.

Is that okay? I’ve learned a lot about grooming and he just doesn’t seem to be liken that. I asked my friends and they said it was fine as you don’t question a 27 and 24 year old together. Then again they’re over 18. Though I am not interested in sex with him, as of religion purposes I just wanted to know everyone’s opinion as i’m trying to get a common denominator on this whole thing. My GUT is telling me wait 8 more months to be 18.

Should I wait? Or just go for it as it’s not illegal here?
