Ahhh frozen breast milk question

So I haven’t pumped since november and I had about 20 ounces in the freezer for my daughters first cold which happened this week and almost the 6 month mark on the dot. I let it thaw today and then used it for her night bottle and when she was like halfway through I smelled/tried a little and it smelled/tasted awful to me but my daughter loved it. I assume she would know if it was bad?? I saw that it’s normal for it to smell/taste off with higher lipase levels but omg I’m so nervous about it!!!
