I've been trying so, so, so many different language learning apps to learn American Sign Language for the past few months now. HOWEVER, most of them are low-quality, or act as a dictionary rather than a class. And the few "free" apps that are well made and instructive, end up needing to be paid for monthly.

I'm just so frustrated because ASL is really important! People don't realize how many use it daily, nor how useful it could be in certain situations. I want to eventually become fluent, but it's incredibly difficult when there's nothing I can find that doesn't need to be paid for. I'm not financially independent from my parents whatsoever, and my mother thinks it's a waste of money. So, without any budget to use or a friend who is already fluent, I feel like there's no way to learn it.

Does anyone have website/app recommendations??? I've must've tried 10+ already and I am seriously considering giving up trying to learn. :(
