Yeast infection pill

I've had a yeast infection for a few weeks. At the time I went to the doc I didn't think I had an infection but I got the pill anyway and didn't take it because I thought it cleared up on it's own. It was just a consolation no pelvic exam.

Well I actually have it and it's bad. I've never had a yeast infection this bad before. I took the pill, and I'm doing boric acid suppositories every other day, I'm also taking probiotics.

Shouldn't the pill take care of everything though?

Also I'm 99% sure this is from having sex with my bf, I think his cum pH is too different from mine.
