so me and my husband been together almost 10 years and i dont think iam his number one priority..let me explain..one time he brag about hes only here in this country for his mom and daughter  (daughter from a different marriage) in my mind im like ok wat about me im your wife lol.. so now i have to question myself what is a wife? or what i mean to him? my husband is from another country and came to the US for basically a better life but he met me and marry me..well anyways he gave me a new ring for my bday and i decided not to wear it and he asked me why i dont have my ring and i said is the same reason why u dont have my picture in none none of ur profiles or ur phone..he has never put a pic of me on his lock screen or nowhere i know its silly but im i being selfish??

You sound immature he brought you a new ring for your birthday and you're not wearing it because he doesn't post you why are you allowing social media to dictate your relationship? So what he doesn't post you

Maybe communicate how you feel instead of acting like a child. The whole being his profile picture on social media or his Lock Screen is stupid

Do you feel that people who are not married but have each other's photos used that way are more serious and devoted to each other?
Have you told him that you feel like he doesn't make you a clear priority over his mom and daughter? (Do you feel you should be a priority rather than an equal to his mom and/or daughter?)

I think it’s a bit silly regarding profile photos and lock screens. Although him not saying your name as to the reason why he’s here can be alarming. I would think it to be more petty to not wear the ring to make a statement when open communication should just be utilized rather than finding ways to get back at someone.

Maybe he would move and take u with him... so he doesnt feel u anchor him in the US. Also my husband didnt put my picture on his phone background... so I went in and put it for him😎. I dont think most men are that sentimental lol. 
     He bought you a new ring for your birthday. Dont allow his words to move you... watch his actions. Dont create problems where there are more than likely not any. And your husband was probably just talking because if he came for a better life.... then lol why act like “people” are what keeps u in the us 🙄. Sometimes people from other countries talk like this... but if back home was so great there wouldve been no need to “leave for a better life.”

If what he does bothers you, you should discuss it with him respectfully and maturely, rather than doing passive aggressive things or trying to get back at him. I can see why what he says bothers you but I do think you are handling it immaturely.
