Wait until birth to find out the gender?

Question

I’m kind of toying with the idea of waiting to find out the sex of our second baby until birth. Who here has done that, and are you happy you waited until birth?

I would love to be one of those women who wait, but the truth is I am way too impatient. I think the idea is super amazing though and I’m sure it’s a very emotional/breathtaking moment when those mom’s/dad’s finally do find out in delivery!

I found out with my first, not with my second, accidentally with my third, and not finding out with my fourth.
Finding out at birth was WAY more exciting than finding out via ultrasound.  I remember just bawling when my daughter was born 😂 I kept saying “it’s a girl!  It’s a girl!”

We waited for both of our kids. Wouldn’t do it any other way. I absolutely loved finding out when I first saw them. Plus, it kept people from flooding us with single colored clothes. And people bothered us less about names, which we didn’t share with anyone.

I found out at birth with my daughter, best decision ever 😊 doing that with my current pregnancy. There are only so many true surprises in life, and waiting until that moment just made it even sweeter honestly

We didn’t find out with our first two, and we’re going to wait with our third. Like others have said, I wouldn’t do it any other way. I’ll never forget my husband’s voice and face when he told me “we have Ella!!” or “we have another girl!!! It’s Margaret!”. It’s truly a wonderful experience.

I loved waiting. It’s such a lovely anticipation and so special to find out when they r born. I waited with my daughter and will defo wait again if I have another

I’m waiting 😊 I literally could not care less what gender our baby is but I think it will be a fun surprise at delivery( Im having fun listening to people tell me their predictions😂) this is our first & my husband wanted to know so the dr. Told him he isn’t telling me or anyone else( he’s a quiet guy in general so super easy for him) plus we are just telling everyone that neither of us know so he’s not harassed by the grands❤️😂🙏🏿

I did this with my first. I didn’t want to know the gender even though I had a strong intuition I was having a girl, I was right 😊
This time I would have did the same thing but my husband really wanted to know the gender beforehand. It’s so amazing to wait 💓
