Is your child forward facing or rear facing in their car seat?

Depending on your car seat , I know on some it says over 40lbs you can turn them around to face forward.

My son is 100th percentile for weight and height and still NOT forward facing. There is no reason to move him forward our vehicles and carseat can accommodate him and he doesn't mind and it is safe.

My daughter outgrew the rear facing limits for her old car seat before she turned 2 so we bought a new car seat with extended rear facing limits & are not planning to turn her until she outgrows it (she will be around 4 when that happens)

weight doesn't really matter. their bones don't form like they should till atleast 4 to be front facing. absolutely no disrespect to you! look up some youtube videos they show great examples of car seat safety 💗

We just got the go ahead too Put her forward facing as she is 42 pounds and our car seats limit for rear facing is 40 wish I could have kept her rear facing longer but it’s just not safe so we turned her and she seams too enjoy car rides more now since she can see the road I guess

Both my 4yo and 2yo are still rear-facing. No reason to turn either yet.

He’s been forward facing since he hit the minimum 22lbs. His feet were hitting the back of the chair when he was rear facing bc he’s long, and he screamed bloody murder every time we got in the car, and for the whole trip. It was better for everyone’s sanity that he be forward facing

Our girl is a green bean. Tall, and small lol just barely over 25lbs so she is for sure still rear facing.
