Hey all! I went to my 36 week check today and she performed a cervical check. I was told my cervix is thinning and is soft. What exactly does that mean? I know you don’t want baby early but I’m really hoping to have her by 38-39 weeks because she has to be at minimum 8 weeks old to attend day care. It would be pushing it if I went the full 40 and I’m not eligible for FMLA or medical leave with the school district that I’m at so I’m relying solely on summer break.

Any tips on home ways to speed up dilation and labor as well?
