Is this a bed bug?

My husband has these bites and we are currently searching every nook and cranny.  We find this little corner in our closet behind something and see this.
Is this a bed bug?!?

Bed bugs are flat and look like ticks. That looks round and brown. You need to check your mattress in the flaps and they leave trails of blood sometimes on the sheets.

Our bonus girls brought them over to our house. Nightmare! But we threw out all bedroom furniture including dressers. Threw away bedding etc. Threw out our living room furniture. All clothing and stuffed animals in the drayer on high heat. (Kind if like for lice) But ours was out of hand before we knew what it was. We bad never heard of them. So we vaccumed and then steamed the carpets, baseboards, window seals etc. Bought Harris bed bug kit from home depot. It was AMAZING!!!  Checked all picture frames and curtains. Threw away our curtains. We did it all at once. We fought them for a while before realizing if we did one room at a time they were still being transfered to other rooms. When we got new beds we put the powder from the kit under the bed and foam the mattresses. And put it on the box springs. They love box springs. Then we bought mattress protectors from walmart. I hope this helps. We have been bug free for almost 2 years now.

Check the corners of your mattress and your dirty laundry. We had them and they were like only in the corner flaps of our mattress. They crawled on me one night and I almost burned the house down. We do not live there not do we have the bed anymore. So gross!
