This is an update from my last post. I'm pregnant and my husband cheated. I told him I'm taking everything and full custody of the kids. He came by my house just to say he's taking full custody and it won't be hard to fight since I'm a registered sex offender. I was 18 with a boyfriend who was 17. We could legally date and have sex but I didn't know sexting was illegal since he was still a minor. We both had to register. Me for having his nudes, him for sending them. So I'm a registered sex offender for child pornography. My sister worked in family court and she told me to just go for split because most of the time the court isn't gonna care why I'm on the list, it's the fact that I'm on it.. I met with my lawyer today and she said she was gonna be honest with me. That we could try for full custody but the judge will take several things into consideration. She mentioned how I don't have a job and a lot of places won't high a register sex offender or rent to them. She also said how I can't bring or pick my kids up from school or daycare. I have to be within a certain distance of a school or daycare and the judge will take the fact that I can't even pick up my own kids from school or daycare into consideration. She mentioned other things too and I knew she was trying to gently tell me my soon to be ex husband will most likely be rewarded full custody... So I'm gonna suck it up and go talk to him and apologize for threatening to take everything and ask if we could do split...
