Do you have a ultrasound first doctor visit?

This is my first pregnancy and really don’t know much.. but I was wondering if you have a ultrasound at your first doctor visit? I’m around 6 weeks right now

Depends, 6 weeks is a little early but maybe. I had an ultrasound at my first visit but that was 8 weeks.

It totally depends on your dr. My OB does a “viability” scan on the first visit just to sure the pregnancy is in the correct place and measuring on track, then she does a more in depth ultrasound at the next visit around 10 weeks.

I did!  But we had been trying for almost 5 years so I think my doctor was as much shocked as we were.  At that point, we all had to see it to believe it.

For my first pregnancy they did the dr appt and the ultrasound and bloodwork at the same appt at 8 weeks but with my second at the same place and still at 8 weeks they did bloodwork and nurse intake first and then came back for ultrasound

Mine doesn't, they do labs and health history and ultrasound 2nd appt when bloodwork confirms pregnancy
