Has anyone else here had limb lengthening surgery? If so what was your experience? I had it done in 2012 for a limb discrepancy if 4 inches shorter. I feel so alone and I struggle a lot. I’ve never met anyone else who has had / or even heard of it. I guess this is just more of a rant. But yeah I feel really alone because no one else in the world has the medical condition I have. I mean yes there are people who have like discrepancy but they don’t have what caused mine. I would never wish this upon anyone else tho. I had mrsa as a new born in the NICU and it ate away the hip and socket joint and majority of my hip bone. My femur bone is attached to nothing it’s just held together through muscles and tendons. It’s a miracle I am even walking.
