Can an intense orgasm bring on your period early?

Me and my boyfriend were going at it almost all day and I had a very extreme intense orgasm that I believe kick-started my period one week early. I checked myself to see if there was any wounds and I have none and no pain besides cramping and steady bleeding like one would have on their period. I was curious to see if this happened to anyone else or if this is more serious and I need to get checked out

Orgasming contracts your uterus and might’ve jumped started what was already coming early but no it wouldn’t be the reason it’s a week early. Your period was likely already coming. 
Orgasming doesn’t stop a period but it can help with painful cramps.

I’ve never actually heard of this happening, I’ve heard a good orgasm can make your period end quicker though lol. Could it be he was hitting the back of your cervix? This happened to me once which caused me to bleed a little bit
