8month old milestones

Hi all!! FTM here and of course google has me nervous 😳

My 8 month old does some things I don’t remember any of my nieces or nephews doing, I wanted to share what he does and things he’s reached, and hopefully on this group of other October 2020 babies you can tell me what yours is doing:

He tries to stand, and can stand for a second or two

Can sit unassisted, and go from belly to sitting alone

Tries to crawl but won’t get his right foot out of his way so he doesn’t move

Oooos and AhhhhhS

Will make eye contact but usually won’t just stare at you for long

Super happy baby

Hums

What I’m concerned with:

He flails his arms constantly, (this is where google had me nervous)

Still prefers smoothly textured foods, will vomit or gag with anything else

Doesn’t sit still or cuddle

Super fidgety if you try to hug him not snuggly at all unless it’s sleep time and he’s on the boob

Still wakes every two hours

Doesn’t point

More so hits toys than plays with them

Wakes up and immediately moves until he goes back down.

I’m sure there’s others but I can’t really think of them right now, but if he has a sensory issue I’d like to help him ASAP.
