When my (ex) boyfriend and i were together we would always put kisses on the end of our messages. When we ended we kept in contact because we have a toddler and i have a child that is not biologically his but he has been in his life since he was little. Obviously after we ended the relationship the kisses at the end of our messages stopped. So this past weekend he was out with a few of his friends and had a few beers. He sent me 2 messages that had kisses at the end. I know its nothing to some people but the kisses were something to us, it was our thing. Also I understand he might have been drunk but isn’t that when true feelings surface?

I dont want to ask him because i dont want to make it a thing and make it seem im reading much into it
