I’m on day 15 of my 20 days of birth control for suppression before I start stims. I started cramping badly this evening and my doctor told me to avoid ibuprofen so I’m trying to do so, but the heating pad and Tylenol isn’t working. We tried going for a walk, that didn’t help, and I’m pretty much miserable at the moment and scared because if I can barely handle the pain of cramps from my period on birth control…how tf am I supposed to be able to get through the period after stims??

Does anyone have any suggestions for what works for them? I have PCOS so cramps isn’t anything new, but I usually take ibuprofen for them.

Any suggestions or words of encouragement is greatly appreciated. My suppression check is 6/10 with an estimated retrieval 6/24.
