Second baby IVF

We had an ivf baby 6 months ago and used up all of our embryos to get him. Looking ahead to another 6 months from now, has anyone done fertility treatments for their second baby? Did you start with femara or iui or go straight to ivf? I think we are going to try some other options before ivf as we have no embryos left and would have to start over completely. When did you schedule an appointment with your RE (ie 1 year postpartum?)?

I am exclusively breastfeeding and plan to do so for a year so we probably won’t see an RE before then. I have never had a regular period (maybe 1x/year prior to pregnancy) so I don’t expect it to return even after stopping breastfeeding.
