So after this baby I think I wanna be on birth control. However, can you still pump and breast feed? And is there any that you dont have to worry about giving you a blood clot? The thought terrifies me. But I dont want the shot cause I know to many it's made gain a shit ton of weight.. and I really dont want the thing in my arm cause I've known people who have had it and literally being able to feel it is kinda unsettling to me.

I personally can’t be on any kind of hormonal birth control due to horrid side effects so I’ll be doing FAM and condoms after baby’s born. 
You can take birth control while breastfeeding / pumping. Just talk to your doctor about your options and figure out which kinds work best for your lifestyle and preferences.

i was on the depo shot for 3 years and never had any side effects from it, i'm one of the lucky ones though i guess. 
my metabolism is fast so i have a hard time gaining weight to begin with so that might've been why

I was allowed to take the mini-pill but not the combination pill.

The only thing my OB offered, that wasn’t an implant, is the mini pill. It’s only like 85% effective if taken perfectly(read the insert) so we used condoms. It’s miserable. It made my skin look AWFUL for the entire time I was breastfeeding and I couldn’t lose the last 5-7lbs. 
I switched back to the patch as soon as I could. I have no idea what I’ll do this time😬

There are some options that won’t affect ur supply so u would want to discuss them with ur doc and see which is the best fit!
