Conceiving after a c section??

Did any of you woman who have had c sections, find it harder to get pregnant again? I’m very worried I will be infertile and that I will have many difficulties conceiving again??

Having a c section shouldn’t have any affect on how fertile you are. Same as a natural birth shouldn’t have any affect.

I had no trouble at all. Having a c-section has nothing to do with getting pregnant. Fertility is a totally different issue. Don't forget it can take a healthy couple a year of TTC. Speak with your doctor if you have concerns.

No issues. Your cycle shouldn't change post c section. Are you still getting your period regularly?

I had no problems conceiving baby #2 after having a c-section only a year prior. It took us 6 months to conceive our first and only 3 months to conceive our second.

I had a c section with my first and i didn’t have trouble getting pregnant for my second. My son is 8 months and I just found out we’re expecting again. I will say after this pregnancy my periods have gotten super regular…before my first pregnancy it was very irregular. Fertility doesn’t have anything to do with how you gave birth tho :)

I had my son c section 10 years ago , waited a while ten years to get pregnant with my second and with my second baby it took me 3 years to get pregnant we went to a fertility clinic and did all test everything came back good , they diagnosed us with unexplained infertility... 3 years later I got pregnant not sure if it’s cause of the c section but I always thought something went wrong due to me not getting pregnant as fast as with my first .

I had a c section with my first and I swear I felt like it took forever for me to get pregnant with my second. I’m on pregnancy number 2 now and I felt like I should’ve been pregnant way before now. Haha!
