How much sleep is normal for a newborn? My son is 8 days old and I’m always freaking out that I’m letting him sleep too much and he won’t want to sleep at night or something 😩

They sleep 98.5% of the day usually the first 4 weeks. Then they start to wake up and explore more.

For the first 4-6 weeks don’t even THINK about worrying about sleeping too much 😂 so normal. As long as they are feeding every 2-4 hours and seem generally well, enjoy the sleep because it does not last!!
