My baby does not like sleeping in this bassinet, whenever we place her down she gets very anxious and her body starts to shake then she cries. I believe the bassinet is too low and makes her feel like she’s falling when inside. Anyone experienced this?

Every baby is different. Try a crib or playpen. Some babies just don’t like sleeping in certain places. We spent over 300 on the crib alone not including mattress and the mattress cover and they spent a week in it maybe. They either got rocked in the car seats (twins) on hard nights, but they love their playpen. The regular size and their big play pen. I mean that thing takes up just about their whole play room lol. She’ll be okay. Just needs a change in scenery and she should be okay. If she keeps crying when you lay her down it might be important to let her doctor know.

My baby is 4 weeks old and would cry anytime we would set her down in the bassinet the first couple weeks and I would have to hold for her to sleep. But then my cousin showed me this amazing course to practice and then implement sleep training. It is called Taking Cara Babies. Somewhat expensive, $99 for the online course, but so worth it!! My baby is 4 weeks old now and she will sleep in her bassinet just fine, 4-5 hours at a time. She wakes for a feeding and changing or I wake her if it’s been 4-5 hours. It has been amazing change from before when she would not sleep unless I was holding her.

Every baby is different. Every bassinet is different. Ours shook so much she never slept. So we put her in her crib instead and she would sleep swaddled up just fine.

My baby hated his bassinet like that. I ended up exchanging it for a mini crib. Sleeps so much better! And I got one on wheels so it’s just as convenient for me but more comforting for him.
