Does Mirena coil give mood swings/ depression ?

So I got the mirena fitted 9 weeks ago during my c section. Since then I’ve been okay but the last week or so my mood has been crazy. I feel angry for nothing. I feel down. I feel stressed. I feel like I can’t manage anything. I feel needy. I feel like a burden.. has anyone else experienced this with the Mirena?

Yes. But if you have been fine until now, I wouldn't think it is iud.

Mirena made me feel insane and it also gave me heart palpitations and chest pain. I had to get it removed after 8 weeks (and I was bleeding the entire time).  I hated it!  My sister and best friend have it and love it though 🤷🏼‍♀️

More likely PPD if you’re 9 weeks postpartum. Talk to your OB
