Midwife vs OB

This is my first (hopefully successful) pregnancy and I would love some input. I love my OB but I’ve been looking into switching to a midwife due to the differences in pregnancy support/labor process. Mama’s who have had pregnancies with both an OB then a midwife, etc. what was your experience like? For me- I’m really interested in uncoached birth and I’m worried about the effect an epidural might have on my experience as I don’t really react to pain medication very well in general.
