I'm due with my 3rd at the end of July and we've decided to have the gender be a surprise. We've come up with a boy name and a girl name we really like but we're keeping the names secret from our family until the baby arrives.

Anyways, the girl name we've chosen is Lydia. Today my dad was watching Beetlejuice (the movie) and for those who haven't seen it, there's a character named Lydia. And my mom started talking about how much she dislikes the name...

We don't want my mom to hate any of our children's names, but we really love this one. Would this stop you from using one?
