Why is it difficult to wake up + gym motivation

Maybe it has to do with my motivation. When I have to work or something important I always wake up and get ready no matter how early. When it comes to me on my days off and going to the gym I always wake up late and feel so tired. I started working out just the other day so my body is adjusting and I feel sore these days. Maybe it’s a normal hurdle I need to get past. I tell myself to get up super early to gym because i want to go when there’s less people. I’m at a new planet fitness because I relocated and I didn’t like their lay out compared to my old one. I know more and more people are getting vaccinated but I don’t like being so close to people still. The gym air even with masks just felt so heavy and ick. This location’s machines are so close together that even walking around you’re always bumping into someone. I’m thinking about checking out another gym and seeing if it’s worth the extra $5 / month or if maybe I should just stick to outdoor runs and home workout

It's hard for everybody. I always think: "I never regret a day of gym, but always regret a day that I skip". This thought works for me.

If you focus more on the routine of go then the motivation then the motivation will come. For my gym I had to schedule time at their child care so it help me create a routine. Now it’s a motivating because I’m making progress and it’s all part of my daily routine!

I do at home workouts. I was like this about 3 months ago. It i don’t workout now I feel awful. Give it your all for 2 weeks. It will start to become a habit for you!
