Changing the world. In a hospital

I’m into the show New Amsterdam and I wanted to pose a question here.

Dr Max Goodwin seemingly fights everyday to change big issues in his hospital no matter the cost and he always takes an approach to making the best decisions he can.

But I wanted to ask do you think that one person can change the hospital system in a few months? The issues he has tackled this far are racism in hospitals, diversity, opioid crisis etc.

I know it’s fictional but do you think one person at a hospital can tackle a huge system such as this?
