Scared toddler

Anyone’s toddler started saying they are scared of all kinds of random things lately? We saw these really big grasshoppers my Dad caught for my son to see and he keeps saying he’s scared of the big grasshoppers. (They are kinda scary and gross). Then tonight he said he’s scared of the door. Other random times he’ll act like he’s super scared of a random man walking by. I think yesterday he said he was scared of a butterfly!

I just always say he’s safe and it’s okay to be scared but none of these things will hurt him and mama will always keep him safe but I’m just curious if others are dealing with anything like this?
