When did you start brushing baby’s teeth?

My 10 month old has 3 little teeth and I was never told if I should be brushing them.. with what toothbrush? Toothpaste? 
When do we start taking them to the dentist?
My son still likes his nighttime feedings though.. so brushing his teeth before bed .... ?

You're supposed to brush the gums before they have teeth with the little gummy brushes that go on your finger to get buildup off their gums and then use a baby tootj brush when the tooth break through

We have a little silicone type brush that goes over our finger. We’ve used it since she was probably 6mo or so. She has 7 teeth now at 10mo. Not sure her teeth are really getting clean since she just bites down hard and I can’t even get it back out of her mouth 🤦🏼‍♀️ She has a dentist appt scheduled a couple weeks after her first birthday.

My pediatrician said to start brushing as soon as they get teeth so we’ve brushing my son’s teeth since he was 3 months. At first I used a silicone toothbrush with Jack n Jill toothpaste. Now we use an extra soft Colgate toothbrush with Tasty Paste Vanilla toothpaste with flouride. You can ask your dentist when they want to see your baby for the first time. I believe I made an appointment when he was 1 year, then again at 3 years.

I talked to my dentist about it
When babies have 1-4 teeth you can wipe them with baby teeth wipes with xylitol, we use Spiffies. When there are 4+ teeth start using a silicone tooth brush too. 
After 6 teeth a rice grain of baby toothpaste and a toothbrush
