Mosquito bites on pregnant belly?

Last night I woke up with mosquito bites on my belly. I can tell I was itching them in my sleep. Is it bad to have a bite on your belly? How can I even prevent this?

Thanks for the info! By chance did you have a yeast infection before getting checked to know that you’re 1cm dilated? At my strep B swab during my 36w appt this Friday I’ll be checked. I’ve never been measured this soon and worried about infection from the check.

I have been getting bites too. I’m 37 weeks and have gotten one on my belly as well. Ask your OBGYN what is a safe way to help you prevent getting bit.
