Zofran?

Okay so right now I’m 6 weeks 4 days and I have mildish nausea only. I have no appetite whatsoever. Whatever food I see or smell, or even THINK about makes me feel sick to my stomach. Will zofran help with nausea & get my appetite back? 🥲🥺 I just wanna eat lol

Everyone's physician is different, my OB said no zofran until 2nd trimester due to possible side effects for baby. Try some other remedies- ginger or peppermint tea, vitamin B6, emetrol, etc. Call your doctor for best advice and treatment.

Zofran was deemed unsafe before 10 weeks gestation a long time ago. There have been several studies since then that prove that it is safe at any point during pregnancy. That being said, Zofran does not always help with nausea. Also, it depends on if you got the pill or if you got the dissolvable. The dissolvable’s work best for me, But again it’s not the best thing for nausea. If I was you I would ask for diclegis. It’s geared more towards nausea, and was made specifically for pregnant women dealing with morning sickness.

I was prescribed it but I had bad morning sickness. I took it once and it helped but then I decided I didn’t want to take it anymore. Personally I wouldn’t take it if it’s just mild nausea. The decrease in appetite may not necessarily be related to the nausea so it would probably make your nausea better but no guarantee it would actually give you your appetite back. It might though if your nausea is causing it but it could also just be another pregnancy thing. But talk to your doctor. They could tell you better than us. Good luck! 😊

I took it almost everyday starting at 6 weeks and stopped finally around 16 weeks. My nausea was terrible and I was also throwing up alot. I have sea bands I have worn since 6 weeks as well and I'm still wearing them at 19 weeks, only take them off to shower. I noticed if I don't have them on in the morning I wake up slightly nauseous. I would try sea bands if your nausea isn't terrible, but if you need Zofran go for it.
