July rent going to be late

So I’m 21 and just moved into my apartment may 1st , ever since I moved here so much shit has been going downhill , I lost my job . I quickly got hired somewhere else but only like 2 days a week for 4 hours , then my transmission messed up so I had to put my car in the shop , extended warranty wanted me to pay for rental first then reimburse me up to $300 well I wasn’t able to get the rental because #1 it was Memorial Day weekend and every single rental company I contacted her all out , and the ones I did find was soooo high and even higher than the normal price one I told them I’m 21 , then I don’t have a major credit card so that made it even harder .. with that being said I had no transportation (I moved 40-50 min away from family, there’s no public transportation out here) so I had to call off many time and they let me go .. I did amazon flex and made $100 , I just made $61 from doordash . My rent is $745. I got rehired at my old job and it’s $13/hr m-f 9-4 but I had to go get finger printed today so my check might not be enough by time the 1st come or I won’t get a check until July .. idek 😒🤦🏽‍♀️ i have no choice but to wait until the 15th when they start depositing the child tax credit . It’s a $5 late fee for every day after the 6th , do property management like “penalize” you if your late on rent ? Or how does that work .
