I have a son from a previous relationship and my bf is extremely involved which I appreciate. I’ve never asked him for help (financially) , before I put him in a sport (pretty expensive) my bf insisted on helping because my son loved it!!! I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to do it because of how much it is ($180) monthly

He swore and insisted on helping.

So to enroll him + outfit, it was $300. He went with me and wanted to pay half but I kept declining and paid it. I told him he can go ahead and just help every other month.

Last month he kept telling me before hand (babe I’m going to help, blah blah blah) day came & nothing.

This month same thing, this time he didn’t mention a word. Am I wrong for feeling some type of way because of this? Idc if he didn’t want to pay but why tell me this if he didn’t mean it.

I’ve told him since the beginning “your word means everything to me” so I kind of feel a little like uneasy because of this. Even if he would’ve voiced he can’t because things changed and he financially can’t that would be good with me!

I also enrolled my son because I thought I’d be getting that help, now it’s stressing me out.

Just want to see what you all think.
