Postpartum Diapers

Question

Any moms out there use the adult diapers for postpartum bleeding? What was your experience? Was it worth the expense? This is my fourth and I just used pads with my previous but I’m wondering if I’m missing out on a better way.

Yes worth it. Sometimes I’d even put a regular pad inside of my Depends so I didn’t have to change my “underwear” every time I felt a gush, but they definitely do a better job controlling leaks than regular underwear. I love the look and feel of the Always boutique adult underwear, but I absolutely hate that they are fragranced, so I usually bought this brand instead. They’re soft and absorbent so I had no complaints.

I just used pads with my first but with my second I used these and used pads. It was nice to not have to worry about leaking everywhere. I only used them for the first week but they were definitely worth it.

I tore a lot. Lots of stitches, lots of blood. At home with getting up sometimes my bladder can’t be controlled. These catch all the bleeding and pee if I can’t get to the restroom in time. Very comfortable for this big girl too! No shame in my diaper game

I loved them. My hospital even provided me with some. I bought the big pack of always ones and still had a bunch leftover because I took home so many extra from the hospital. I hated those giant pads and disposable undies

honestly, i feel like it will be much easier. i had a couple from the hospital and wish i had gotten some for myself. no shame in my diaper game

I just used the soft post partum undies at my hospital they don’t look like diapers they looked like boy short panties but much softer 
… I didn’t need a whole lot because I didn’t have too much bleeding. I recommend pads 🤷🏽‍♀️ I never tried they diapers myself i wonder how they feel

I’ve used this with 2 of my kids and I wished I had them with my first. It took the worry of leaks away and honestly with my second and third I didn’t have complete control of my bladder after for about a week and didn’t always make it to the bathroom on time so I was glad I had these. I still have some left I’ll use this time as well. They are a lifesaver.
