My husband does t like the name Zach or Sebastian because they are two names of kids who bullied him as a kid/teen. I’ve always loved the name Sebastian so I was sad when he told me we can’t use it

My ex wanted to use the names of his ex gf child, not my exes child, and then his best friend who was a woman’s son’s name.
Both of those were off the table immediately.
To say the least, he left before our son was born and I got to choose a name 😀

I wouldn't have wanted to use the names of my ex's just because I don't really like the names anyways, but especially now I just feel like it would be weird. 
One name I always loved was raven. Won't ever use it because I was cheated on with a girl named raven. If she hadn't known about me, I could still use her name. But she knew and blatantly didn't care about me or my oldest son being in the picture so nope can't do it.

I really wanted the name Ariel for a girl, before even trying to conceive, but my half uncle named his girl that about 4 years ago soo... we are now pregnant with a girl and have to come up with something else instead 😩
