Hard to show affection

Is anyone else like this? It’s really hard for me

to show affection to my significant other. I always try my hardest because I feel everyone needs to feel love and I want to match my actions with my words. Inside I feel butterflies when I see him and I just feel so much inside, but for some reason I can’t show it on the outside. I have been trying though and he sees it. I’m just wondering if anyone else is like this? I feel so alone with this issue.
