How long into dating would/did you have sex?

I’ve been dating this guy for about 3 weeks. I’ve known him since high school. Now, we’re both consenting adults looking for something serious. The sexual tension between us is HIGH, VERY HIGH. When I see him, I just want to sit on his face. I just want to know how soon into dating someone did you have sex with them? Because I really want too, but I don’t want it to be too “soon”. My mother says if you fuck too soon, your value depletes. Though if it were up to her I’d be a nun. She’s very judgmental and as much as I hate her criticism, they haunt my thoughts constantly.
