He doesn’t want me to meet his son or family

I’ve been dating my boyfriend for a year and I haven’t met any of his family yet. I’ve only met one of his friends because we ran into him in town.

Today he dropped me off at home and went to pick up his son, but I left my phone in the car, so he had to come back. I ended up leaving and instead of dropping it off to me directly, (which would’ve been easier and closer,) he opted to just drop it off to my apartment which was out of the way. Now I REALLY know that he doesn’t wish for me to meet his son.

I don’t know how to feel.. we basically live together and he’s already met all of my family, but if we have to stop at his mom’s, he always makes me sit outside and wait in the car. If it’s time for him to pick up his son, he’ll take me straight home.

It’s starting to get to me.
