I love both, but would name him Theodore and use Theo daily. Kid would know he was in trouble if he heard the full version.

I think if you're only going to call them Theo, you may as well have that as the name! My best friend's mom named her Nikki instead of Nicole and calling her Nikki because she figured why bother having it be a nickname if that was what she would call her all the time anyways
