He took me out an hour away to lunch on a beach, and took me to the shopping areas to get some frozen yogurt. He paid for everything: food and parking. He even opened the door for me when I was getting in his car. However, he seems like a shy guy and didn't make any moves to hold my hand or kiss me which I'm not used to. Aside from our fun and playful conversations, we went pretty deep and we talked about past relationships with ex's and he made it known that he does not like yelling in a relationship. I also made it clear that I never liked yelling in my family, and enjoy hearing each other out in disagreements.

When he took me home, he looked very awkward like he didn't know what to say so I just hugged him and said I had a really fun time. He usually lingers and hugs me goodbye. I think it was because he thought my cousin was around, but I'm not sure if he just didn't like me after the date.. We waved and said goodbye.

Was this a date and he is interested in me? Or am i dreaming this up
