Chores + $$$

My husband thinks my kids should be paid for doing chores. I think not. I don’t get paid for doing things around the house (laundry/mopping/sweeping/etc) why should they? It takes everyone to keep a house going, I don’t think I should have to pay my kids to do their part. Yes or no?

*I will buy them something FOR doing their chores, like “oh you did all of your chores this week without complaining, I’ll spend $10-15 on a toy or something.” every now and then. But I’m talking about paying them money for every little thing they do.
