What age did you convert from crib to toddler bed?

Crib til 4! They have no impulse control to stay in bed. Most kids, anyway. Some get lucky!

My first slept in my bed until 3 and then moved to a toddler bed. My middle one started climbing out of his baby bed around 15 months but didn't do it consistently until about 20 months. So 20 months is when I moved him to a toddler bed. My third is about to be a year old and I probably won't switch him until he starts crawling out as well.

We did it at 2 years and 3 months bc we needed the crib for a new baby. She did great, picked out her own bed and Minnie Mouse sheets, she loves it.

At 2 but only because she tried to climb out & fell over the edge otherwise I would have kept her in her crib until 3-3.5 years old.

We needed the crib for our second child so we transitioned our son to a twin bed with a safety rail 3 months before his 3rd birthday. Everyone I know who transitioned their kids out of a crib before age 2 struggled with their kids sleep afterwards (kids not staying in bed)

Never. We transitioned from crib to twin bed around age 3.5-4. Once you take the rail off, bye bye nap time, at least for us. Unless they're climbing out or needing the bathroom at night, there's no benefit to it.
