My first I had spontaneously at 30+5 they couldn't give a reason to why because everything was textbook perfect.

My second they started me on progesterone injections from 16-37 weeks with routine checkups with MFM getting my cervix measured starting at 14 weeks and I was able to get an elective induction at 39+4 🙌

Well this time around since my second was amazing I figured we'd do the same recipe for baby #3 since it worked so well for #2.. had my first appointment at 10+5 I figured we'd touch base on our plan, my OB didn't say much (which is fine since I was still so early) except he said we'd follow the same plan as it seemed to work.. I called about it later to see if he put in a referral and/or prescription, they were weird about it over the phone and said it was noted that we'd go over it at my next appointment (which was today @ 15+2) my OB was on-call and we weren't able to see him, but instead saw a nurse practitioner which was fine, I go over my 2 main concerns (cervix checks & progesterone) she acts like that is insane to start either this early on and says there is absolutely nothing in my notes about it and maybe I should just wait for the DR because she can't see any reason why I'd start it before 26 weeks, especially if I'm not even having contractions (mind you I never had any preterm symptoms with my 1st, all of a sudden I was in full blown labor) I then asked our nurse if she can leave a note for my DR to look over my case and call me since I couldn't wait around and I really didn't feel satisfied to wait that long.. she said no problem and we prepare to leave once we get the heartbeat done, instead they send in a seasoned nurse practitioner to go over my concerns and do the heartbeat and she thankfully sent in my referral and prescription without issues! 🙏 I feel so thankful.. I don't know why they got so weird about it this time around, it's not like I'm making things up for the fun of it? It made me feel slightly ridiculous, but I wouldn't have been comfortable waiting longer 😅 so I'm grateful someone listened! 🙏

Tomorrow hopefully I can get an appointment with MFM scheduled and get my progesterone within the week 🙏
