What age to stop wearing diapers at night?

My child just turned 4. She’s pretty well potty trained and doesn’t wear a diaper during the day. She knows when she has to go and very rarely has accidents. However she has verbalized that she doesn’t want to wear diapers at night. Any tips? I have waterproof bed sheets and I’m aware of the obvious no drinks before bed & have her try to go potty before she sleeps. Any other advice? And what age did your child stop wearing diapers to bed? (And yes I’m aware that accidents will happen I just want to set her up for the best success and outcome)

If she’s no longer having accidents overnight on a regular basis, there’s no reason for her to be wearing diapers. 4 years old seems pretty old to be wearing diapers regularly if the child is typically developing.

I would stop using a diaper at night time now. My daughter stopped wearing diapers to bed as soon as she was fully potty trained, which was two weeks before her third birthday. My daughter has literally never had a nighttime accident.

It's really a developmental thing. Some kids are able to hold all night or wake to go pee earlier than others. My oldest started waking up dry most days around the time she turned 5. She'll be 6 in September and she still has the occasional accident if she drinks too much water before bed, but the last 5-6 months it's been a rare occurrence. 
Get some washable bed pads. I got a 4 pack of them and they save having to change the sheets. I also got some thick cotton training underwear and that really helped absorb little pees and may have actually helped her wake when she wet.

My 3.5 yr old trained himself when he was ready. He said he wanted big boy chonies at night and I told him he had to stay dry for 3 nights in a row and then we could try it. He messed the bed 1 time on the first day of no pull ups, then we tried 3 more days dry and did it again. He's never wet it since.

I am a FTM but me and my sister raised my little brother and when he was about three + and potty trained, what we did to make sure he didn’t wet the bed was limit liquid in take before bed time, then we had an alarm for every 4 hours while he sleeps to take him to pee and it worked for him until he was able to hold it in from the beginning to the end of bedtime.

I think my son just decided to stop wearing pull ups full stop a few months before his 4th birthday. He'd been waking up dry for a long time, but he just seemed insecure about it.

Sounds like she’s ready. We stopped them about that age and it’s been over a year with like 3 accidents

My first stopped wearing them to bed at 3, second read right after her second birthday.  I was afraid to stop them but they both actually did great.
