New job late in pregnancy

Has anyone started a new job at about 30 weeks pregnant? How did it go and what did you do if you didn't qualify for maternity leave? I left my job a few weeks ago because my husband and I thought it would be best for me to be a stay at home mom but unfortunately things don't always work out the way we plan. I'm considering separating from my husband and he basically told me if we do he is either taking the apartment or the car (both are in my name but I have no income so not much I can do there) I have 2 other children who go to school so I can't really afford to give up just one to have him "help(control)" me. Anyways, sorry for the rant but main question is about starting a new job. I put in an application for a good job with benefits and good pay so we'll see..
