If your dad has or is cheating on your mom would you tell your siblings?

So I’ve known for a while that my dad has cheated on my mom before.. she has vented to me about it because she doesn’t have anyone to talk to about it. me and my mom are really close. Me and my dad have always had a rocky relationship but I still love him he’s a good dad not perfect but yk. Anyways so my mom recently told me when I moved out he did it again which was 2yrs ago already. With the same women he did while I was in high school which was like 2yrs before that. I guess he stopped because we were working for the same company different departments. anyways so my dad has a new job and he started calling this girl by pet names. And my mom told me. I would 100% support my mom if she left and I’ve told her that but I don’t think she will because she’s been with my dad for 20+ years and had 4 kids and has grandchildren and I’d doubt my dad would be open to therapy he probably wouldn’t even consider it. Well anyways so I got tired of it and I cussed him out and he was laughing the whole time calling my mom a snitch. And yeah it probably keeps happening because he thinks my mom won’t leave or there won’t be any consequences. And yeah it’s probably my moms fault too cause she won’t leave. It’s just toxic all around. But I wonder how my dad would feel if his kids knew. Probably like shit and I’m tired of him getting away with it.. I would say our family is averagely close. And how can I stay out of it if my mom confides in me. Im always in the middle of their relationship and I don’t always side with one or the other I always talk to them and say whose fair. It’s not all the time or constantly that they tell me what’s going on between them, but regardless I know some stuff. I’m married and have my own kids already too. I just wish they would go to therapy feels like they’re never going to change cause my dad is closed minded. And I hate dealing with it and therapy could help them so much but I don’t want my mom to feel like she can’t come to me about stuff.

Also, your mom should not be putting you into the middle of her relationship issues with your dad. That’s wrong of her to place that burden on you. She should not be using you as an emotional outlet. I understand you love her, but this is wrong of her.

I don’t understand why your mom is putting her relationship problems out there and going to her kids about it. That’s traumatizing and can severely affect children, it’s emotional abuse. I would never go to my kids about our marriage problems, that’s way too big of a problem to put on any child even if they’re adults.
Personally I would tell my mom to stop telling me stuff and either she leaves or works it out with him, I don’t want to hear about it anymore. You can tell your siblings if you want to and maybe it’ll help you to discuss it and it not all be on you. But, there could be repercussions like one of your siblings blaming you somehow and not wanting to get along with you anymore. It’s a tough situation that you should’ve never been put in in the first place.

The decision is only your mom’s to make, telling anyone else really won’t make a difference “he laughed the whole time” just shows he doesn’t value or care about your opinion so why would he care if your other siblings know?
Truth be told your Mom needs to woman up and leave him, once a cheater always a cheater. 
If she chooses to stay, we’ll that’s on her. 
Focus on your own life as she seems happy being cheated on in her marriage.

Yes. Did they know he cheated before? I personally think since u are an adult its ok for mom to confide in you.... youbalso love your father where as other may not. If you were a minor child then id say no. And if your siblings are minors no. But as adults and being family I dont see it as a big deal to tell because it may help mom transition from the relationship if she needs to.

Depends on the age of siblings. I’d tell me older brother (26) but I wouldn’t tell younger siblings if they aren’t adults yet.

I understand wondering about how he would feel if you told them, However, how is it ok to drag others in the hurt and drama, allow them to live live and enjoy where they are at. 
I personally believe your mom sure leave and make an adult choice to make her life better! She has been with him for 20+ years but does she want to deal with this for the next 20+? 
On top of these, how will your mom feel if you tell them, she comes to you in trust! Trust is very important if she is being cheated on!
