Praying this gives hope to someone who may be in my situation!

I have a 21 mo daughter and getting pregnant with her took some time, and ended up with our first medically assisted trigger and timed intercourse and it worked first time! Praise God! I was 31 1/2 at conception and 32 when I had her.

Fast forward to 6/2020. We started trying to get pregnant naturally for our second. My cycles are extremely long naturally and we just don’t got time for that lol I would ovulate on CD31-33 and have 50 day cycles by the time my period comes. That ain’t happening! So in 08/2020 we started to look into a fertility clinic. We got started by 09/2020 with stims and timed intercourse. After 4 rounds of this, it didn’t work. We moved onto stims with two IUIs in January and March since I developed a cyst and needed to take a break for February. And still nothing which was ok(:

We found a new place here in L.A. in late April after doing some research on the FertilityIQ website and I walked in and told the doctor what I was looking for and wanted and we got rolling right away!!! To say I was excited was an understatement(: In May we started monitoring and stims! Intense headaches but I was happy that that was all I was experiencing lol initially my follies were many (now almost 34yo) but then they just stopped all growing. Triggered with 5000iu of Novarel. So we retrieved 6/16 and only 7 mature eggs were collected. No prob, this was great news👌🏾 and very grateful! 4 fertilized then only 3 continued to day 5/6. Our fresh Transfer day was 6/21 and our 5AA embryo naturally hatched !! This makes it easier to stick and implant a bit sooner. Went to an acupuncturist within an hour after my transfer and McDonald’s Fries lol and it was magical. She stated that they wanted to minimize uterine contractions and cramping for the first few days to give the embryo a chance to safely implant and not be shaken off from uterine contractions/cramps.

Now here we are 5dp5dt with a blazing positive and on a digi! Praise God for this journey and we will continue on no matter what!
