what are these in my lizards water bowl??

I've notices these tiny flies or bugs appearing in my leopard geckos water bowl that keep coming back and im not sure what they are or if theyre harmful to my gecko, can anyone help? Theyre only ever in the water bowl from what i can see and they're extremely small

They look like they’ve got wings so I’d also say fruit flies but as a reptile keeper my first instinct would be to check for mites. Been soaking in his dish at all? Have any mites on him you can see? Always worth a double check, especially if you’ve changed substrates or anything lately. Hope it’s nothing!

They could also just be regular gnats but don’t worry none of them can harm your baby

Those are fungus gnats they are really common they aren’t harmful to your gecko but just very annoying i hope you found this helpful☺️
