Sensitive diaper rash cream?

I just asked my 18 month old if he wanted a diaper change. He had a bit of a rash the last time I did it. I put Destine on it the last time. He was upset, and clearly in pain when I put it on. About 2 hours later When I asked again he started hyperventilating. I’ve never seen him do that. When I put the cream on, he screamed. And was barely able to calm him down afterwards.

Does anyone have a cream they use that’s had better results? He has his checkup appointment this Wednesday, so we’ll also see if the doctor can recommend anything.
